Oris watch with multi-piece carbon fiber and titanium case, gray PVD plated (47 mm), "Oris 793" SW 300-1 base automatic movement, sapphire crystal with domed sides and interior anti-reflective treatment, black dial , indexes and hands with Superluminova BG W9 Grade A, bezel with barometric altimeter. Titanium screw-down safety crown, altimeter screw-down safety crown, gray PVD plated with date window at 3 o'clock with instantaneous date, date corrector, stop second, water resistant to 100 meters (10 BAR). Meet the new ProPilot Altimeter, the only watch in the world that combines a mechanical altimeter with a mechanical automatic movement.
More altitude, thin and light
The second generation part is better than ever: more altitude, thinner and lighter.
More altitude: because thanks to a new pressure box it can now withstand altitude up to 6,000 meters or 19,700 feet, depending on the model you choose.
Thinner: Because we've upgraded the movement to the slimmer Caliber 793, which also features a higher power reserve of 56 hours. The watch is 1mm thinner than the previous generation.
And lighter: because its case is made of an innovative carbon fiber and PEKK composite that we have applied to watchmaking for the first time. The new watch weighs only 98 grams, 70 less than the previous model.
How is the ProPilot Altimeter case made?
The ProPilot Altimeter case is manufactured using a unique “additive manufacturing and molding” process developed by our Swiss partner 9T Labs. This process is different to normal 3D printing, which is mostly done by prototyping. We can industrialize manufacturing and use technology to produce structural parts in large quantities. This is real progress.
