Watch Luminox F-117 Nighthawk GMT 6420 Series:

The US Air Force pilots flying the Nighthawk F-117 Stealth jets approached and contacted Luminox to make watches specifically for them.

Luminox created the original F-117 series 3400 watch in a 43 m / m stainless steel case with a silver and black PVD treatment. The case had a detailed engraving of the Nighthawk F-117 Stealth aircraft, for which Luminox has a world watch with Lockheed Martin.

A new version of this series, the 6420 series, also black as night, was created with a larger, bolder, more angular design to evoke the flavor of the jet itself. Attacks a stronger profile with a 44 mm stainless steel case.

The GMT bezel came about in the 1950s with the rise in commercial air travel. To help PanAm’s transatlantic pilots and their crews keep track of the local and Greenwich Mean Time (which was then used as the international time standard)
