Luminox 8903.ECO #TIDE Recycled Ocean Material - 8900 Series Watch:

Luminox has partnered with a Swiss company recycling plastic collected from the oceans to create the #TIDE series of watches.

The new 8903.ECO from the Tide 8900 series uses 100% recycled material for case, strap and bezel with #TIDE material.

On five islands in the Andaman Sea, fishermen are trained and paid to collect and sort the coated plastic. This material is recorded, washed, crushed and turned into a granular material that can be injected or spun. The belt is also recycled sustainable materials made from recycled PET water bottles.

The textured wave dial features the three R's icon at 6 o'clock: "Reduce – Reuse – Recycle".
