About the Seiko Astron SSJ013J1 GPS Solar Titanium, 3x62 watch :
Seiko Astron SSJ013J1 with the new Caliber 3X62, Solar GPS with improved reception and greater design freedom. The watch automatically connects up to twice a day* to the GPS network to maintain its accuracy. *When the face detects sunlight, the watch connects to the GPS satellite network and automatically adjusts to the correct time. If the watch is hidden from light, it remembers the time of your last successful manual connection and tries to receive the GPS signal again at that very moment. - Its bezel is faceted with a fine finish on the upper part, in a dynamic line thanks to its dimensional case. - The bracelet is integrated into its case, with a clean and refined design and carefully tapers towards the clasp, accentuating its harmonious and elegant appearance. -Highly legible dial with a distinctive pattern and minimalist design. It features a subdial at 8 o'clock that indicates the reception process of GPS satellite signals, as well as the state of charge of the watch, the reception of leap second data and the flight mode. The dials feature a pattern reminiscent of the quartz crystals used to create the tuning fork-shaped quartz oscillators of the original 1969 Quartz Astron. The case and bracelet are made of titanium with a scratch resistant coating.
