The MRG-B2000RG-3A is inspired by kurogane-iro, the deep blue-green hue that iron takes on when heated to forge traditional armor and helmets.
The MRG-B2000RG-3A watch features a deep-layer hardening process and a green Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating on the titanium bezel and case.
Its recrystallized titanium bezel is reminiscent of the Nie crystals used to temper Japanese swords.
The dial's base surface features a tortoiseshell motif, a traditional symbol of strength and good fortune, in a deep green hue bordering on black.
The outer edge of the dial is designed to evoke the silhouette of a Japanese fan or screen. The indexes are inspired by the curvature of katanas with a frosted finish.
And it's not just aesthetically striking: this watch also offers advanced functionality. The exclusive MR-G module includes a gold-plated retention plate that reduces electrical resistance. The X uses Sallaz polishing.
